And some needed time away from the city. Sometimes it takes having to get beat over the head with something a few times (even though we logically know the truth) to really get tired enough of a situation. It sounds like you got some kind of closure on the situation anyway. And besides, he isn't really going to be good for any woman right now, and you don't need a guy on the rebound. If it is ever meant to happen between you two, now is obviously not the time, and you deserve someone who knows what he wants and is ready to have it. So back to the online dating, huh? Yikes! Well, I’m glad you had a lot of good times on the trip! And some needed time away from the city.

Sometimes it takes having to get beat over the head with something a few times (even though we logically know the truth) to really get tired enough of a situation. It sounds like you got some kind of closure on the situation anyway.

I guess they did to a certain extent, but I also omitted to mention that we had lots of frank conversations about his impending divorce, and he made it clear that he's not dating anyone anytime soon but he is fooling around w at least one other person...and he made a point to ask me about my dating life...and kept saying "I just really want you to have a relaxing weekend"....so it seemed like he was going out of his way to express to me that he & I are really, really nothing more than friends with benefits. Yeah…I can see how from what I’ve written, it would sound like his actions contradicted his words.
